This weekend I made a welcome post out of an old trophy. The trophy was a retirement gift that was given to my grandmother when she retired. It had been sitting in the back of a closet for years. I didn’t want to get rid of it because it was once hers, but I really wasn’t diggin the “oscar” sitting in my closet. So I upcycled it! I used the base of it as a new welcome post. I think it turned out pretty cute. What do ya think? Now every time I come home I see that sign and it makes me think of my granny. 🙂
